Hi! I’m SK, the artist behind Merakicks. 🎨
I’ve been creating for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I was the one who carried pencils everywhere, doodled on every piece of paper in sight, and begged my family to save their old notebooks so I could fill them with drawings. Art has always been my language.
Then, in 2014, everything shifted. I picked up a paintbrush for the very first time… and something clicked. What started as a simple experiment quickly turned into an obsession. I fell in love with transforming everyday items into something personal, meaningful, and completely unique. Before I knew it, my hobby had grown into a part-time job, and my part-time job grew into a passion that keeps me excited every single day.
Being a freelance artist has been one of the most rewarding (and fun!) adventures of my life. I get to work with amazing people, hear their stories, and turn their ideas into wearable art they can cherish forever. Every design I create has a little piece of my heart in it, and knowing it goes out into the world to make someone smile? That’s the best feeling ever.
